LiveRamp connects data across the world's largest brands — an infrastructure story that is genuinely hard to make legible. I rebuilt their website around a new brand system, working as digital designer through the agency Sköna.
Visit liveramp.com ↗LiveRamp had a new brand system and a website that predated it. The gap was not only visual: the site explained a complex data connectivity platform in the vocabulary of the people who built it, which left prospective customers to do the translation themselves.
The rebuild had a hard date. It needed to launch ahead of RampUp, the company's own industry summit, when traffic and scrutiny would both peak.
Rather than design pages, we designed a kit — flexible templates and custom elements that the marketing team could recombine long after launch. That decision is what let the site cover a large surface area without a bespoke layout for every topic.
The harder work was editorial. Simplifying dense infrastructure content meant deciding, section by section, what a reader actually needed in order to move to the next question — and cutting the rest.
The site launched ahead of the RampUp summit on the new brand system, and was shortlisted for Best B2B Website at the 2022 Awwwards.
Complex infrastructure is not an excuse for complex explanation.
